Qatar Meteorology warns of strong wind, lower temperature from tomorrow

Doha: Fresh to strong Northwesterly winds is forecasted to affect the country from tomorrow, announced Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).

According to its latest weather update, this weather condition is expected to begin from tomorrow, February 8, until Friday this week. 

Blowing dust is also likely at times along with further dip in temperature with a heightened sense of coldness, especially in the southern and outer regions of Qatar. 

"The rise in temperatures today is followed by a noticeable decrease from tomorrow (Wednesday), with the Northwesterly winds expected until the end of the week," QMD said in a tweet. 

A marine warning is also issued during this period.
